Joe Tadrick, Protective Security Advisor - New York, Department of Homeland Security
 
Mr. Joe Tadrick has been assigned to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Infrastructure Protection Directorate, Protective Security Division, Protective Security Advisor (PSA) program with duty station at the United States Secret Service Field Office in Brooklyn, NY since January 2005.

Mr. Tadrick has had extensive training in Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and has been considered a subject matter expert by the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) regarding Counterterrorism (CT) and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and explosives (CBRNE) issues. 

Mr. Tadrick joined the PSA program after performing duties as a Senior Watch Officer at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Homeland Security Operations Center (HSOC). His position in the HSOC was responsible for providing National Level Intelligence support regarding Critical Infrastructure (CI) issues and developing threats related to Homeland Security. He developed high level CI products to assist the management of DHS in assessing vulnerabilities and risk.

Mr. Tadrick has served as Naval Reserve Officer attached to the HUMINT support Detachment. His career in the Naval Reserves has been spent in support of Joint Special Operations and HUMINT collection. Mr. Tadrick is a certified Department of Defense Strategic Debriefer; some of his other certifications include; Homeland Security Specialist Level III (ACFEI), instructor for MSC Antiterrorism Officer Level I/Level II, instructor for MOPP and instructor of Level I/Level II AT/FP Training.

Mr. Tadrick served on active duty at Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU) as a senior intelligence analyst for CT / WMD. He supported a CNO Priority One Joint Special Operations Command. Mr. Tadrick had a major responsibility for analysis of CBRNE, Terrorist Orgs and Delivery methods.

He was also detailed to the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), as a DIA Operations Officer, WMD Subject Matter Expert. While at the JTTF Mr. Tadrick was tasked with providing National Level Intelligence regarding International Terrorism Threats. He developed high level Intelligence reports regarding threats related to Homeland Security with special emphasis on Weapons of Mass Destruction/Counter Proliferation (WMD/CP) issues. Mr. Tadrick also acted as a liaison for DIA/FBI/JTTF to the NJ Military Mega-Base Group and was responsible for working with Other Government Agencies/ Other Defense Agencies (OGA/ODA) regarding Counter Terrorism and WMD/CP issues

Mr. Tadrick holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from Rutgers University, a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Management from Long Island University and is currently pursing on a Masters of Science Strategic Intelligence (MSSI) from the Joint Military Intelligence College (JMIC) at the DIA, Washington, D.C.

Mr. Tadrick is married with three children.
